Webinar: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Contracts: Understanding new approaches to contractual clauses
Countries across Africa and other developing regions are looking for ways to accelerate much needed infrastructure development. In response to this need, several international organizations and countries are developing tools and guidance on infrastructure development, which often include language promoting the use of PPP contracts.
During this webinar, experts will analyze different approaches to designing PPP agreements, as well as what these approaches mean and their implications in practice. The webinar will focus particularly on the 2019 Guidance on PPP Contractual Provisions developed and promoted by the World Bank. These experts will also discuss how contracts could be designed to enhance the overall contribution of infrastructure development to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
